Hi hi – Quick maintenance post. The Downloads page is working again. So …. download to your heart’s content! (There’s still a $0 price option on everything.)
I’m updating the site some. The gallery is just not lookin’ so cute right now, but downloads, so tradeoffs, right?. But also, the navigation on this site is a hot mess. That’s my next big project. One thing at a time, right?
Buuuuuttttttt….. doing everything all at once is more fuuuuuunnnnnn! Maximum chaos! Toss it all up in the air and see how it lands! Fire EVERYTHING!!!! No. No those are all terrible ideas.
I feel like I’m so not used to writing as me, in my own voice, at this point that I’m writing as one of my coworkers. (You know that thing you do where you tryto respond to a potential conflict email a little more like the way it’s written because the internet says that that will make it easier for people to like you and want to agree with you? I’m right now realizing that I do that way too much. Yikes! Gotta find the me voice in here….)
You know where you say above, “Maximum chaos?” Yeah, my brain hears Deadpool saying, “Maximum effort!”
Hiya old friend :-) Hope you and your Mom are happy, well, and enjoying the oncoming Spring. I think of you often with a big smile when I visit my costume storage rack of velvets, laces, and taffetas, and all of the fluffy, fun accessories you made [location: in the basement next to the bar and pool table]. As I try on all of the hats, I wonder what you’re up to :-)
Best wishes from your biggest fan in Ohio <3
I just wanted to let you know that as a budding costumer in the early aughts trying to make an Elizabethan gown your website was an absolute gift. You laid things out in a way that a novice could understand and learn from and I came back to your page many, many times.
Wandering back to this corner of the internet filled me to the brim, like running into a friend unexpectedly. Thank you so much for all your work and for helping shape an approach to sewing that I carry with me today.
I just cried a little (in the best possible way) – thank you! My heart is full.
I hope you and your family are doing well! I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work, especially your matchless drafting method! I actually enjoy numbers but getting those measurements to line up to a pattern… Oof. I prefer sculpting methods in my crafting, ie the ever popular making a duct tape dummy. But this actually allows me to make clothing patterns…
Thank you thank you thank you! My cosplay dreams will come true now I’m sure c:
I just purchased a file! Thanks so much.
