Spinning My Wheel....

Wheel? What? Am I a wheelbarrel with a limp? Nope. I've just become totally inseparable from my spinning wheel, is all. I can't seem to get through a day without doing something spinning related; spinning, trying novelty plies, setting skeins, and recently dying roving -- I confess, I'm a total nut for wool. Er, and silk and a few other fibers. I've always been a tactile kinda girl, and spinning seems to satisfy some deep seated need to fondle fibers. And that leaves me all wound up and getting pretty twisted... ;)

Now, since I know there's a pretty heavy overlap between costume types and general craft junkies, I thought I'd start sharing some of the yarns I've been working up, my notes on their making, etc. This isn't meant to be basic spinning information, because the folks over at Joy of Handspinning already have that done up, plyed, and set. This is just my notes and stuff, and some darn pretty pictures (if I don't say so myself). A lot of the yarns are available/going to be available through my Etsy store. Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, some of them might even sell. That'd be peachy-keen.
