I do a fair amount of experimenting when I sew. (Ok, "screwing around" might be a better description.)
Some of these things turn out to be pretty good ideas, and become techniques that I use extensively. Others,
however, turn out to be bad really bad ideas -- either they just don't work, or there are significant problems
with getting them to work, or they look *bad*, or they're just entirely too time consuming. I'm starting to
keep better track of these things as I try them, partly because a lot of people seem interested, and partly
because I have swiss cheese for brains these days, and if I don't keep track of things, I can't remember them. ;)
